Uncle packed up my competition baby for me and sent it on it's way to the UK, no sign !! I ordered a WW2 for my Dad in between and it's here. Must be customs but then again we better get the cave checked out and I think I remember Bruise saying something about intercepting a special package for me !!

WHO KNOWS !!

:D

On a different note, this WW2 by Kumar is really some piece of work. The handle is like nothing I have ever handled before - I think it was moulded to fit my hand and the blade shape is perfect. The recurve and bit between the cho and bolster even have a nice continuos curve. It's the nicest looking feeling khuk (below 18inches). I have handled and I got it for my Dad - well that is the way of the Khukuri gods so I must let it be. If I like it imagine what the man who made me will think of it - he's never (to my knowledge) even handled a khuk. Lucky Dad !!

IT ARRIVED TODAY::

WOW, what an amazing piece of craftmanship. This is unlike any other khuk I have had. The first thing you notice is the extreme forward weight on the blade - it's as if the whole khuk is just blade. Next you notice the really small handle but it's perfect cos it will never slip out your hand, seems to stick in your palm.

It's made by Kumer which is a bonus - my first Kumar, the villager went to my Father in Law (Jill's mom came to visit and said he would really like it - I got a Chiruwa AK instead) I remember something about khuk's finding their onwers. The next is the WW2 that just arrived - to my Dad, he will love it. And now an M43 just for me !!

:D

Thanks Uncle Bill and HI.

Thanks guys for guessing wrong

Not at all - the buggers hit me £30 !!

In the last 2 days I could have bought a 21 inch Sirupati with the amount customs got !!

I'm just happy my baby arrived - a month is a long time for someone with a serious dose of HIKV !!

Just wait until you wait the Nine Months for the Real Baby to arrive and you hear small wee cries in the middle of the night signifying it's your turn to get up and feed, burp and change the little one before you get to go back to bed.
Your buying of khuk days are numbered as we speak!!!!

Just remember, I tried to tell you all of this some time back and did you listen(?)
I'm wondering? :p

NDNS are like elephants........ We Never forget!!!!:p :p :p :p

By the way, just for your entertainment and enlightenment the Cherokee word for Elephant and Butterfly are exactly the
same, Ka-ma-ma.:D
Now I wonder why and how that came to be?:D
