M43 on E-Bay !!

Looks nice, the guy should be reminded that the warrantee doesn't transfer to new owners though.

It doesn't? =( <sniff>

What about if there was a sale between two forums members here?
Doubt i'll ever need to use it.,since i'm in Canada and shipping is (apparently) crazy., at least the way HI ships. (add 20USD to the shipping price)
but it's still nice to have..

Since when? It is my understanding that the guarantee follows the kukri, not whom it belongs to.

I remember that the warrantee does not go past the first owner. I believe that there was a problem with people buying a used Khurk and then trying to get money back for it. I remember reading that in one of the old, old post but do not know if it changed since then.

From the "Instructions for ordering special deals (or anything) by email" thread, posted 10/15/03:

Yes, unless otherwise stated.

Does the warranty apply to the original owner only or does it go with the knife to the second or whatever owner that bought a used one?

Original owner only. It used to go with the knife but crooks who bought the knife from the original owner at a reduced price, destroyed the knife and then asked for the original purchase price to be refunded ended that policy.

That kind of abuse of a good faith warranty really pi$$eS me off! Folks that try to get to people like that need a good old fashioned whuppin'!
I can't fathom people who can even think that cheating some one (especially a man of integrity like Bill ) by an extreme bending/breaking of the khukuri/warranty could expect to be refunded, especially with a good deal on a blem or second hand khukuri. These warranties seem to me to apply to people who have integrity themselves. Bill models the behavior and expects the same.
Unfortunately we all have to suffer from a few idiots and their selfishness.

Didn't realise the warranty didn't follow the khuk. Will change description....

This is the 100 000th post M43 . .... desperate times desperate measures !!

No. Go ahead and add a note at the bottom. You are allowed I think.

I hope you get a lot of "L"s for it. Not sure why you didn't want money, but if you need "L"s...well then, I want you to be happy.:p
