hello everybody

according to you
which is the most general-purpose khukuri ? between an M43 or a 18 inch Ganga Ram.

I think that both of them are good but I would like the opinion of anybody having used one among it or both

thanks and have a nice day :p

For general purpose, the WW II model is hard to beat. I have a Bura made GRS that is a great knife, but its' weight & handling characteristics aren't "general purpose." Bura must have really been paying attention the day he built it.....its cut some really hard stuff, like dead, seasoned dog wood & just keeps going.....typical HI khukuri! For me, the AK's are great general purpose khukuris too. They balance & handle different than the WWII's, but no matter what size, I've never been disappointed by one of them.

I have both, like 'em both but the most general purpose is the BGRS.:D
For general NON-SHTF work I prefer it over my 18" AK. If I was gonna do shtf work then I would want my 18" AK.

tihsllub (Fluttie for Ph. D.) :p :D
