Hey!

I'm going to buy a tomahawk in the near future . I think now the two models m48 UC and VooDoo mini - hawk SOG . What is better?

What do you want a hawk for? If it's just for looks, go with the bigger m48. If you want to throw or process wood, go get a Cold Steel hawk. The synthetic handle is often a point of failure, and if you remove the setscrew in the CS hawks the handle will just pop out instead of breaking. Then it's fairly easy to reset the head, and when the handle does wear out it's easy to get or make a new one.

They are both great as long as you don't plan on using them.

Do yourself a favor and save up a few more dollars and pick up a VTAC if you want a usable synthetic handle.

The SOG and M48 are very low quality that have a long history of breaking. This question has been asked many times before and I'm sure you'll still pick one you mentioned.........so I'll say in advance........I told you so.

The issue with the two 'hawks isn't the fact that they have synthetic handles, it's the rabbet tang design.

Another vote to spend a little more and get an American Tomahawk Company VTAC.
