I have a M6 Scout chambered in 22LR/410 shotgun. I've read several articles on this weapon and I'm wondering if anyone has this weapon and what you think of it. Mine is in Stainless Steel and I've found with 22LR barrel it groups better with the 40 grain bullet, velocity isn't a factor. Any ones thoughts on this is welcvome.

Had one , My thoughts .
At the original selling price it is a cool little gun If you bought it new at the original price , you can sell it at 3-4x what it cost and buy a number of better guns. At what they sell for now they are way over priced for using value. just my $.02

Had one for 12yrs or so and sold it beginning of this year for a cool $500... I really liked the idea of it.. but I never was in the position where I was trekking for a long period of time and could only carry one "heavy item". In a panic situation, it's just too slow to load. The 410 shotty is cool, but the gun is short for long armed people like myself.. only shot it a hand full of times and just preferred to shoot my ruger 22 plinker...

It's a popular gun amongst "survivialists", however I just don't know anyone who uses one. So I took advantage of inflated pricing and made a nice profit and bought some knives :) That's all I got :D

Mine was used as woods wandering gun. I took a lot of squirrel and rabbits with it a few groundhogs and assorted other game . It has been replaced with a rossi 410/22 combo which is lighter to carry and easier to shoot accurately. It also left me with an extra $500 after the rebate on the rossi

One of my sons has one and loves it. He's also quite accurate with it.

Pic taken when it was still cool outside.

Neat little gun. But overvalued except for collectors or those that like it for its uniqueness. If you can find one, the new Savage M42 is a good substitute. You might find a Rossi Trifecta for the same price (.22, 20 gauge, .243) or less.
