Here's one I recently finished, I incorporated a couple of new things and was pleased with how it came out and thought I would share. This is a Model 8 hollow handle survival knife, with just about every option I offer. These are cellphone pics, so the quality isn't the greatest.

It has the M.O.A. System (Make it Out Alive), which is the small PSK knife and diamond sharpening stone that slide into hidden compartments below the guard of the primary knife so that they are invisible until needed. The compartments are magnetic, so the contents don't rattle or move. The sheath is also lined to prevent scratches and have a smooth draw.

It also has the pouch and tin on the sheath. The tin contains a Basic Survival Kit, which consists of a small flashlight, about a foot of tinder cord, and a compass in a leather sheath that can hang around your neck. The ferrocerium rod is threaded to fit the buttcap, so that there is a solid handle to hold it while striking. The buttcap is made out of aluminum to keep the weight and balance proper, but I put a stainless steel plate on the bottom so that it can be used for hammering without gouging the softer aluminum.

And finally, the handle has a "micarta" sleeve under the cord wrap, to both give it contour and also to absorb shock and insulate from heat/cold. It works great for chopping and indexing in the hand, and I have to say it has, at least for me anyway, changed the whole feel and eliminated one of the biggest downfalls of hollow tubular handles.

Anyway, just wanted to post some pics and share.

Amazing work! It's the whole enchilada. Love the idea for the micarta handle sleeve. How was that made? Was it machined from a block of micarta or something?

Very well thought out and superbly executed....fine kit there.

Ingenious and a beaut.

Excellent detail with the steel butt plate combined with weight saving alu.

Thank you, gentlemen. I appreciate the compliments. Always a little nerve-wracking when you change things up, I was glad when it worked out.

Sam that is a great looking piece.:)

What steel did you use for the blade?

What an awesome package, you have thought of everything you would need to survive and done it with class, nice work.
