HOLY SHAT!!!!! Just came in the mail and jeez its sweet!! Got a new millie about two weeks ago and was not that happy but this blade feels and looks so bad ass. Its a little heavy but i am very very impressedn this is the smoothest knife i own. Locks up solid g10 is great wish i had the cf s90v one that would be really sick but wow. Love the jimping and the large lanyard hole. This is def my new edc. Only thing i would change is i wish it had a sharpening choil.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Had mine for awhile, picked up another, since I liked it so well, one of the smoothest opening knives I have seen. When you get that heavy blade moving, it just glides to a stop. Like all spyderco's very sharp and very capable.:D

Yeah i cant get over how smooth it is. Thought it was a little heavy at first but it feels great like its built tuff. Very impressed

Congrats on a great knife. I'm still crying :( about completely missing the boat on the Carbon Fiber release. I swear I'm in the forums daily and I just flat out missed that opportunity. Must have been a time period when I was abducted by aliens and had my memory wiped.

Try a drop of gun oil around the pivot and ball bearing, it gets even smoother!

You missed it twice, 'cause I ordered one when they were first available and another week and half ago when another small wave hit a couple retailers. Maybe more coming? I'm not sure how there were shipped, but it's possible there's 400 in small batches.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! I must do some serious research! Thanks for the ray of light!

I've read that the large spyder-hole makes it a good choice for use with gloves. Can anyone attest to ease of one handed operation when wearing heavy winter gloves?

I do not like the cheesey lock button.

:(:(:(

Now don't be sad:p
Just hunt you down a mini manix! ...I did, and the hunt is half the fun:thumbup:... but then again paying over retail isn't all that fun:(

Yep, just look at that big hole in the blade...of course there easy:p

Mike, I've heard nothing since from that retailer so that wave must have been extremely small. :p

Large Spyderhole definitely helps when opening the knife with gloved hands. Caged ball lock is also easier to close wearing gloves than a regular ball lock, but still nowhere near as easy to close that way as a midlock.

Can anybody tell me what kind of finish is on this blade?
stonewashed finish, frequently used on 154-cm, a great finish for a working knife, as minor scrapes and scratches won't be as obvious as on a polished blade. I like it, it looks business like

That's a good point. Still I like how the CBBL should be able to let me keep my fingers out of the way.

The Manix2 154cm is a hollow grind.

Hmm! If it's anything like the Native, then, it might not be half as disappointing as I thought. Although I'm sure I would much rather prefer a FFG.
