Ok, what are you guys using to fill in the accessory sheath? I've tried a couple like the Izula but nothing fits the way I like except the TDI LDK since it's so small and angled that makes it easier to pull out. a cord wrapped handle still kinda' bulky so might remove and just have a lanyard. not sure what I'd use the LDK for up the hill though.

I don't have one so I am asking....is there a sheath in the front pouch like the old BK9s and the Johnson/Zombie knives? If so, it would be for a Remora.

yep a small slit (snickers) behind the pouch. the strap is long for retention. I've never seen a Remora - thanks C_Tanner, will check it out.

but now I'm off to the machete shop! whoo hoo!

cool - Sears sells the Remora but has to be mail order to here so I'll just support a forum supporter instead. was watching some Remora vids now can't wait to get one. this one is OT but funny as hell at the end! LOL :D

Machax kicked ass today helping clear out part of the neighbor's lot. Some things I noted, snap straps just a hair too short. And as I was "snapping' the blade to chop trees the bottom part of the handle wore into my pinky raw, blister formed and burst, while working. Want to try a bigger version now. Had fun batonning stumps then whacking them closer to the ground. We then went pig hunting but that's another story :D

She's a beaut.

how another machete faired today. no comparison - destroyed.

ultimately it came down to using the Machax and a USGI only. The Machax ruled in tight confines and on hilly inclines. This will be my go to combo from here out!

While it doesn't fit the mini sheath, a BK14/11 in stock sheath will fit in the accessory pouch quite nicely. The handle sticks up of the first retention strap a bit, but doesn't interfere with drawing either knife that much.
