Bladite thanks for posting the image
I would think "BROMMELAND' stamped on back was the sheath maker ? Is this who made all the sheaths ? They show up on Google
I "hopeful" That this is only knife set like this. Than you knife collectors can cry in your beer
My yahoo. account is still down , will check on it later
thanks again
according to Ethan, iirc, fewer than 24 of those sheaths were made. i have one at least
i'm aware of 3 original wood handled MachAxes, but none with pins like that. have pictures of 2. the other one was sold by indiansilver on ebay a while ago (see above 3:43 am post) for about $95 iirc.
lessee... rare of the rares... less than 25 or so warriors iirc. i was told 50 at one point, but then told it was probably more like 25-30... who can say

interestingly, they got full spead advertising in the old marketing literature in the old Cutlery Shoppe Catalogs. i've held 3 and owned 2 but now 1. squeaky rare
speaking of literature, between my collecting, and Ethan supplying me with some goods, i've got a LOT of the old literature up. there are a few blades listed therein that i've never seen - experimental? tactuls in particular.
as well, there's a "one of a kind" camillus tactool on ebay, that someone is selling for $650

hard to tell about that one. factory second or line pull or something? bueller? hope it's worth that price for someone
mmm, a few BK08s were put out there, maybe 5-8. haven't heard of one of those changing hands. yet.
pretty rare are the hard chrome machax, warriors, and campanions. only seen a handful of those. own a few...
also kinda rare are some prototype neckers. sweet things.
ETA: oh right, there's a BK12 as well. mighty rare
but yours is probably in the "under 25" very rare category for sure - just guessing based on the number of those unique leather sheaths meade. possibly/probably fewer. only Ethan can tell us.
take care of it
