Not khuks, but machetes/long relatively straight top-heavy blades (at least 12"). It would help greatly if y'all can suggest ones under 100 bucks. The Becker Patrol looks great from a far, but I've read too many complaints about its handle & potential lack of durability in hard use.

Thanks very much in advance!

Tramontina, Barteaux and Martindale make solid machetes of various styles, Valiant has a large variety of goloks and BRK&T have a parang.

Valiant is an Australian company. Are there any problems with ordering their stuff if you live in North America?

No, lots of people in NA have no problems, there is lots of discussion of their products on Knifeforums.

I would say Ontario's are my fav but you have to take them to get sharpend. I've got all three lengths the 12" 18" and 22" they are heavy duty choppers and they all cost around 20bux.
