Bought a Lobster brand 24 inch rozador machete at an estate sale. Used it to clear woody bush growing over my compound fence. It really had good balance and worked well.
It was still new and the sticker on it was in English but it had no country of origin nor
manufacturer. Lobster logo clearly inscribed in blade and on the sticker. Would like
to find out more of the brand and its relatives.

This is honestly my first hearing of such a brand. And any effort on my part to google it just brings up the kind of lobsters we eat.

They sell a lobster brand machete out of Venezuela. They have a website in Spanish with a list of different blades. Aside from the rosador, popular models include the jardineria, the agricola corneta.

Saw all the ones for sale in Venezuela, but I bought this in USA. English labeling makes me thing there is a legitimate importer for USA
and possibly selling other Lobster brand tools.
My machete looks exactly like the green handled, black steel types shown in Venezuelan site.

Not familiar with the Lobster branded offering . Sorry no help there . But I will concur that the Rozador patter is a beast . The one I own is a Imacasa branded offering from El Salvador . I've used lots of different styles of machetes in the field for various different task . The Latin is an ever popular design as are others . But when you have this pattern at this length and wood chopping is the order of the day in all but the hardest of targets you'll do just fine . Not as light as more stream lined styles but you'll appreciate that when it time to get to work .
