I collect machetes. i bought one recently marked " Nceres" but I can not find any info on it. Looks like a large combination camp knife and cleaver.
Can any one enlighten me?

It's Enderes, here's the stamp that matches - https://thumbs.worthpoint.com/zoom/...litter_1_354cdd2f619372ac2b8222b53be55c81.jpg .

Actual knife is a Lamb Splitter butcher's cleaver, under the tape will be a wooden handle, probably cracked. Enderes started in Minnesota in 1910, and closed in 2016, they made chisels, etc... for many years. The cutlery part was first 1/2 of the 20th century. I think the cutlery part stopped before WWII, so 1910-1940, or so.

You did well, full lamb splitters are tough to find at good prices.

Edit - 1921 catalog -
