While not as "catchy" as MACHETE MONDAY it is time to get some of these bad boys out!!!!!

Payments & Shipping

Please quote the whole description in your post when you shark a knife. Failing to do so won’t mean your call doesn’t count, but it really helps.

Editing posts is a no no. Please refrain from doing so. If you withdraw on a knife please follow up with a post stating as such.

Payment may be made to Paypal (fiddlebackpayments(at)att.net), or by personal check or MO. We hold all personal checks until they have cleared. This usually doesn’t cause a delay because they usually clear before shipping day.

Domestic US shipping is included in the price of the knife.

International shipping is $40 Flat Rate, even with multiple knives.

Wednesday is Shipping Day.

Attention!!! The paypal address is: fiddlebackpayments(at)att.net. Please describe your purchase in the payment notes.

PLEASE put a note in Paypal letting us know what knife you got.

We have instituted a 3 knife limit per post when claiming knives.

Unless something changed with the new batch, they're 1075. 12" are 3mm thick, 16" are 2.2mm thick.

Just wondering as these don't have the Bullseye lanyard hole like the other production ones. I thought I read some where that these were going to go on to the production line.

From the recent Behind the Scene's thread:

Flared tubing works essentially like a rivet. In this case we are using 1/4"-diameter stainless steel tubing. A length of tubing is inserted through each chamfered hole in the scale/blade set, and both ends of the tube are flared simultaneously by pressing between two dies in an arbor press. It gives a solid, tight, and permanent mechanical joint.

The new batch of machetes uses machined micarta scales similar to those of our production knives. We initially experimented with three machine screws, plus a single flared tube on the lanyard hole of the machete. Based on initial feedback on the photos of that configuration, we have switched to four flared tubes to attach the scales.

The new machetes no longer have the bullseye.

I'll take a : "12" $130 w/ sheath" please.

We are no longer attaching the scales the same way as our Handmades. We have the scales made and attach them via flared tubing. It is a much faster method that allows us to fit them into our production schedule of our Handmades.
