First of all, the tank Bond shot was not an American-quality, UL-listed tank in good condition. No. It was some third-world rusted-out thing.

Second, Bond didn't shot it in the body of the tank. No. He is such a perfect shot that he shot off the neck of the valve.

And, finally, the Myth Busters don't have Q Branch assisting them.

It just so happens that we've packed the swab with a highly-concentrated explosive... sufficient to blow the door off of any safe.
