Machine Jeweling your knife

Hey guys I stumbled across this site, it provides a nice way to personalize your blades, I'm gonna have my Spyderco/Viele done. This guy looks like he does nice work, I'll let you know how it comes out.

That's some neat stuff. Jewelled surfaces hold up to abuse very well and stay nice looking for a long time. I'd love to see a fighter style knife, or modern stainless bowie done that way.
 
Yes machining gives a nice effect...if ya got a little patience it's fairly easy to do yourself.
 
Precision engine turning can look great, but I don't like when the whole blade is done. When the blade is left alone and the rest of the metal areas are turned I think it looks fantastic on some knives.
