Just finished up this finger treadle, definately my favorite machine shop project thus far.
Base is mahogany,
base plate is jeweled aluminum, treadle and bearing block are also aluminum,
crank shaft is 12L14,
connecting rod is brass,
and the flywheels are 12L14 bored to .001 smaller than the brass and shrunk fit.
