Machining and the one-piece-line

After I got my first CRK fixed blade yesterday, I wondered if they are completely machined or if the blade is hand-ground.

The blade is indeed hand-ground. Infact all Chris Reeve knives are. The one piece knives are done for them by a machine shop. Folders are all made at Chris Reeve. Heat treat is done by Reeve. Info from Chris Reeve. Later, Jeff
