Macoupin County Marauder

I finished up a Macoupin County Marauder for a customer yesterday. The customer asked for a 7 1/2 to 8 1/2" blade with a single guard. The standard for this model is a 10" blade and a double guard. I really like how the scaled down version turned out. The 8 1/2" blade was forged from W2 and given a coat of clay before hardening. The guard is 416 stainless and the handle is a piece of nicely figured african blackwood.
