mad dog atak2 or busse fusion steel heart?

hi everyone,

i have some money put aside for a knife. i have been reading through all the forums researching all the knives i like. i have narrowed it down to the two mentioned above. i have read so much info regarding these blades and thought i would put it to you guys and see if i've overlooked anything.
i need help :confused
 
Well, they're really two very different knives, I'd lean towards the Busse as I have more confidence in their blades, but setting those sorts of considerations aside, have you looked at the rather large size discrepancy between the two? The fusion steel heart is one big ass hunk of steel. If you plan on chopping and prying with it and really using the knife, I'd go with the FSH, if you plan on making it more of an edc or collectible it becomes harder to choose.
 
I'd suggest a search on this forum concerning these 2 knives and makers. There has been much discussion on both.

I'm a confirmed INFIholic and I would go for the Busse, but do the search and a bunch of reading. I think it may make your choice easier.

You'll more than likely be able to get the Busse within a couple of months, but the Mad Dog will take a lot more time.

I'm a confirmed INFIholic, so I'd buy the Busse.

thanks for the comments guys! i'd say i'll be using it for a lot of camp/brush clearing type of work. a bit of butchering and pig-sticking will come into play also. :D
