This is refreshing. Thank god for this bladeforums!!! I don't have to worship Mad Dog and his products!!!!! Dare disagree with Mr. McClung's strong opinions and you've invited a gang attack. Perhaps Mad Dog is not to be blamed for this fanaticism - but he certainly has done othing to tone it down. Good marketing, I suppose.
Not that his knives are bad, but they are no better than those of many other knifemakers.

Finally, without going into detail, contrast Mad Dog's extremely strong opinions and his methods of expressing them with the classy Darryl Ralph, for example. I don't know why he is a moderator on that other otherwise fine forum.

Get off it already. You've said what you've wanted to say several times too many. Neither this forum, nor the general forum nor any other forum you may have posted this on, focuses on this as thier topics. I suggest you find something more intelligent, thought provoking, or simply useful, to post, or don't post at all.

Ok, this thread is going to be locked and deleted, simply because the issue is being discussed in two threads on another forum on this site.
