anyone ever reviewed one of their knives? Im interested in maybe doing a review on them... any help appreciated.

Yes, two TUSK's and an Operator. Mike Turber also reviewed a couple. There was also a review by some Polish guys awhile back. Will Kwan also had some comments on edge durability issues. I have linked the details in the reviews. Nice shape to the knives, steel is brittle. Guys like Kirk make similar knives with much better overall performance, aside from the "tactical" benefit of G11 handles. McClung is kind of funny to interact with, he makes Mick Strider look polite.

Wasn't that the one where a guy hung off a pygmy ATAK after ramming it in a tree and it broke? I remember the phrase "hanging a giant ham in the tree" being used at McClung's forum. It was rude but I'm sorry- I couldn't help chuckling a little over that one. :D

McClung used to very aggressively promote his knives for such activities, until people started to do them. Much was made about the knife being 3/16", however if this was a strength concern it would be even more of an issue of the 1/4" knives in the 7 and especially 10" length which McClung used to promote for things like "SEALS" using them as diving boards.
