Madagascar Rosewood-suited as a present?

Heres a new addition to our local CRK/Sebenza family. ;) A small classic, jigged Madagascar Rosewood. This is, however, going to be a birthday present for my father. Hopefully it will be welcome and be to his liking.

The two Mammoth Ivory Sebenzas, are mine, btw. Talk about a curse or an addicition : Ive bought my first Sebenza (one of the Ivory ones), in early November! :( So thats about 3 Sebenzas in roughly 3 months! :o

By the way-I really agree with the others who praised Neil and TRK. Its been one nice and smooth transaction! :)

Anyways, I just wanted to share, as I have never seen pictures of a jigged Rosewood on here. "Enjoy" ;) :)

I had the same small jigged for a while. Still regreting I ever sold it. After seeing you photos, I'm considering getting another for the collection.

BTW, I love the ivories you have there. I'm a sucker for em. I have a Damascus bladed one I got recently from Neil.
 
Hehe, sorry man-didn`t want to cause hurt by posting the photos. ;) But if you really regret selling yours, just give Neil a call-he still has three of em! ;)

Yeah, the ivories are nice-even though I wouldnt mind if the ivory was a bit more creamy colored.

I guess a damascus blade really suits the ivory inlays well-adds an even more posh/classy touch to it. Its not for me though-Im already having a hard time EDC`ing a "regular" ivory model! :p
 
Believe it or not, but it crossed my mind ! :D LOL I dont think it would look as good though?! Im not brave enough to try it out on mine-is anybody willing to pioneer? :eek:

Hi

I have asked CRK many times to "jig" something other than Madagascar Rosewood but Lisa feels that this particular wood is the best suited.

I may have my own ideas, but she (Lisa) is probably right.:thumbup:
