I have a feeling this new one is going to get some serious pocket time. The grippy scales are great and it’s just a joy to hold. S90v is a new steel for me and I’ve heard that it’s hard to sharpen and is sometimes prone to chipping, hopefully it’s not an issue.

I love the drunken. I just wish they'd do a more affordable version, say G10 front scale and S30v? Call it the Tipsy. Lmao!

From what I understand it’s the “drunken” milling pattern that adds a lot to the cost.

The Spydiechef is similar in profile, and also another favorite of mine, but in actual usage I’m finding they’re quite different.

I believe it is, but they can make a plainer model... Just for me. Please, Sal? Lol

I've considered both knives and noticed they were similar in profile, what are the differences in usage that you've found (besides the obvious such as handle material etc.)?

I read the thread title as he was drunk and bought some knives. Something I’m sure some of us have done.....multiple times.

Leaving disappointed.

You might only have four Spyderco's but you have the best 4 in my opinion.

The Spydiechef is a similar blade shape but much thinner stock and an almost totally blunt point.
