My girlfriend and I made a little fire today, roasted some marshmallows, listened to some Tragically Hip and wished for spring. I used my bk9 to chop up the wood. Made easy work of it all, we collected the standing dead wood from the woods near my house.

Here's my dog Bentley and myself, you can see my bk9 in the snow in front of me

Cool. Looks like it was a good but cold time. I miss the snow. Ty for sharing. Im bringingmy bk9 camping next weekend.

I need to do that - not today but before the week is over! Good initiative - did the fire help to warm things up north there?

Ya we had a nice night, added in some Tragically Hip to listen to and it was great. Both of us had been missing sitting around the campfire, and it wasn't too cold last night (compared to the usual temps).

Get on it! there is something very primitive about sitting around a fire, I love it. The fire kept us nice and warm, and allowed me to give my 9 it's first workout. I wish the fire would help bring spring sooner! I want to get back to camping and hiking (without so many layers on) ASAP.

Looks like fun man. I love the snow. Wish we had some.

Looks like a good time. I'm with you on wishing for spring. Bring it on!

Looks like you had a great time, how do you like the 9.

I love it, the extra weight over the 7 makes it better for chopping. I'm going to need to contact 710 soon and get a sheath for it. I sliced the handle strap almost off while putting the knife in the sheath.
