Made a sheath for my Case Trapper

Nicely done. (But let it have some pocket time too.)

Congrats and welcome to the fold. You'll have plenty of company to help you with your affliction.

Wow, that stitching is well done. I like the color as well. Thanks for the pics.

Nice job on the sheath. You have to watch out for Blues and the other folks here. They'll sing those sweet traditional songs and before you know it all of your modern knives will be sitting around, lonely and unused, while you'll be sewing dozens of extra pockets on your trousers so that you can have a couple of handfuls of traditional knives at your fingertips to play with throughout the day. Letters will go unanswered. Friendships with non-knife folk will wither and die. You'll give up tofu burgers and go back to steak so that you can compare the slicing ability of CV vs. trusharp. You'll start making sheaths for your own knives. Oops. You already did. Never mind the warnings. It's too late. If you haven't completely surrendered to the traditional bug, you may as well go ahead and do it. You're too far gone to fight it.

Anyway, I like the looks of the sheath. Clean lines, good workmanship. I've been thinking of doing something similar for a Vintage Knives moose I just picked up. Maybe I should quite dithering and go ahead an do it.

Nice job!

The traditional bug bit me again a couple of years ago. As a result I'm down to a single tactical that seldom gets any pocket time. My slipjoints get a daily workout. It's so nice to watch carbon steel develop a patina over time as it gets used.

Nicely said, same thing happened to me:cool:.

Very nice work! Good knife too, I like the looks of the rounded bolsters on yours better than on my cv trapper, which are flat. Are they making them that way again or was yours old stock?
