Hi guys!

I made a swap with rwc53 (Ron). He wanted to give me a Schrade Old Timer Stockman 340T, made in the USA. I wanted to give him my Carl Schlieper Barlow with Jigged Red Bone, made in Germany.
So we dicided to make that exchange. We changed adresses and gave it to post. After about ten days my knife arrived in Texas and also after ten days Ron´s knife arrived in Bavaria.
He gave me two of his Schrade Old Timer Stockman 340T. Theese knives are amazing! Pretty little fellows. I cleaned them up, and sharpened them. Ron keeps his knife all in good situations. Great man!

We emptied the bottle of Single Malt during silvester night and the bluesharp had to to some work. The Schrade Old Timer stockman fitted nicely in my pocket. And today the headache is all around ;)

All in all, I must say, that theese knives are very nice. They´ll make definitely a nice addition to my EDC rotation.

My absolute thanks to Ron, rwc53. Great knives, that wanted to share here in forum.

Well, Corey you´re right, Laphroaig is not for everyone. As we say here in Germany: "Nur die Harten kommen in den Garten" (translated word by word: "Only the hard ones get into garden" - just for the rhyme ;) ) But in this case the amount was deciding.

I think, that old Schrade´s get a nice place here in Bavaria. I keep them in secure, because theese two are things noone wants to loose anyway.

Congrats on the trade. Those knives can do about anything. Except cure a hangover. :)

Hi Andi! Been incredibly busy the past couple of weeks! I will get a picture of that fine Eye Brand single blade up here soon, my friend! It's an excellent knife, with good old carbon steel that takes a great edge. Fine trade, Andi! I appreciate it! Looks like your new Schrades like living in Bavaria.

I´m glad that you like that little fellow I sent you.

The Schrades like it here a lot in Bavaria. It´s a great place to live! I´m sure, that the Eye Brand knife likes it over the Atlantic Ocean.
