Made a toolbox for my Dessert Warriors!

I saw one done on the fleabay for $125. And their colors were all off (way too pastel)

But knew from my time working at Lowe’s that it’s just a $20 novelty tool box, and some vinyl. Figured I could make my own for $30 and a couple hours. (My wife has a Cricut vinyl cutter already)

That is pretty cool! I was gonna grab one of those for my collection but I just have way too many knives for the box, LOL! I'm watching for a deal on a good, used top chest!

I have a bigger craftsman (that needs a bigger one soon). This was just a cool idea for the few dessert warrior knives I have

That was the eBay one. Granted his had an actual sticker. (I couldn’t find any online that weren’t $20 for a sticker.) but the colors were off. And made it look more “Barbie” than Dessert Warrior. It was $125 OBO. And actually sold. Not sure the final price.

But I made mine for under $30 and a couple hours placing sprinkles. Dad said I should make a couple and sell them for $200. I laughed. If I could find a couple actual stickers. But even with the generic bubble font. I think mine came out better. But I may be bias lol

When I worked there we only had the black and blue. I texted an old coworker who said they had pink. Told him to grab one and put it behind the counter. They aren’t bad. Supposedly holds up to 5lbs a drawer. I put a little gun oil on a q-tip and oiled the track a little to make the drawers smoother. Not bad for a little $20 box

Yea. I was looking for a certain Dessert Warrior knife on eBay and saw that one listed. Like I said, my first thought was “that’s a $20 box with vinyl. Not worth $125.” Then I looked at it more and it was “that’s really bad.. it has an actual Blade HQ sticker, but the colors are Chinese knock off shades.”

I am lucky that my wife has a Cricut and I have that access to cut the vinyl with that at home. But thought “I could definitely do better.” All in all on this one I spent $30. That’s the box, the color matched vinyl, and pink peel and stick felt to line the bottom.

The whole used/“ebay new” Dessert Warrior prices. People buying 3-4 $50 knives to post online for $150-175 is crazy. So someone taking the time to make one and try to sell for $125 isn’t that insane. (Obviously, because someone bought the one I saw) but at least do it right
