I am a newbie here, saw something I wanted in the classifieds, posted a reply, it did not post, sorry I am dumb, I guess did not do enough reading, not being a paying member, does that mean I cannot buy anything in the classifieds?

Sometimes it takes a little while for posts to show up. If it is not there after a few minutes go ahead and post again. It's all good. You should be able to buy stuff. The Admins generally don't delete any posts. If you want to though I believe that you can edit the post to whatever you feel comfortable with. Don't sweat it, we were all new here at one time.
 
You do not have to be a paying member to buy in the exchange. You just can't trade or sell your items without a paid membership.
 
Just give it a minute. It should show up... You can always send a PM or email. Welcome to the forums! Kick your shoes off, grab a frosty beverage, and prepare to go broke!
