Made at Schrade?

It was one of a set of the Tradesman series. This one is missing it's wonderful Giorgianni etch so was probably a reject or overrun piece. You can find the flyers on Larry's collectors-of-schrades-r.us site.

Thanks Codger, and thawk. I tend to gravitate toward the older Cut. Co. and Walden knives, but the enthusiasm of you collectors of the later ones keeps rubbing off on me!
The brilliant redbone on the full-bore collector set, along with the etches makes the set a real prize, and makes this Ebay one homely by comparison.

If you wait awhile you can pick one up on ebay that has the etched blade, It took me almost a year but I picked up all five in the collection. The miner seems to be available more often then the others. A complete set will show up once in awhile and go for around $200 or more.

One sold tonight for 198.50. Good call on the price.

I paid around $300 for my five but that was because I purchased them one at a time and not as a set. I now need to find a blank case that they come in to complete the set. I saw one once on ebay but went for more than I was willing to pay.

Thanks LRV. You posted seconds before I did. And thanks for the advice everyone! I may wait now, for a set to come along. Unless it goes cheap.
