Made by Camillus? (winchester toothpick)

Sgt Strawberry,
We do make alot of knives for other companies[OEM work]. Some of these companies release us to mention that we do work for them, many others ask us to keep it private. I'm sure you can understand.

As we have discussed here on the forum, some of the companies that we CAN discuss, are REMINGTON and SEARS. We also make of course the Offical Boy Scouts Knife. I will say that there are ALOT of other companies we do work for.

Thanks for the interest!

I checked out Sears today after finding out that Camillus makes their knives. The three blade Stockman there is, well... GREAT! Now, this is just from looking at it, but I'm no knife dummy! The fit and finish looked very clean. On lots of stockman and "traditional" folders that I see, they are cheaply made, cheaply finished and look junky. Also, the price may make you think that this is a junk knife. Well, it sure doesn't look junky. I can get one from Sears for $35 Canadian! And, it says on the package that if you have any problems with the knife, return it to Sears for a free replacement. This is a Lifetime warantee! How's that for service! The bolsters were very nicely polished brass and the knife had a good weight to it.

I only recently became interested in traditional pocket knives, and I want one made by Camillus. I wish I could find oens that say Camillus around here, but I think Sears may be my only bet. I'd save and order one from 1sks on my birthday (Jan. 24th) but with $18 shipping, that becomes almost the price of the knife at Sears! I think $18 US is close to $27-$29 Canadian.

Anyways, Go check out these Camillus made knives at Sears. Camillus has done a great job on them.

I understand completely! I do find it interesting as I search the histories behind my many knives, that so many cutlery/knife companies never even actually assembled a knife.

By the way...nice photo of you chopping rope in Blade magazine... You get paid for that!?

Strawberry.:D
