:D :D :D :D

I made some Pasta tonight where my Opinel cut up some chicken, garlic, butter and carrots. :)

 I need something like that for carrots!:D See, some people do use their Striders!

My basic kitchen knife is a CRK Sable III, the 4" blade. I also use my Bark Rivers, a few different models, and I've used a CUDA Maxx a lot. The Maxx is the closest I have to a "kitchen" knife. I'm not as used to folders generally because they are harder to clean.

Just took my Pacific Salt out of the dishwasher this morning. Love that knife in the kitchen.

Made some eggs and a peanutbutter sandwich whit my Howling rat yesterday. The coating is really hard to clean whit out fresh water and a brush.

My Mora is THE kitchen knife. Its the stainles version whit the plastic handel so also dishwasher safe.

Haha...I laughed. Havent used my knives in prepping food yet except to open a pack of chips.

never cut garlic-it ruins it-
either get a garlic press or squash it in the pan with a big spoon-

I've squashed garlic with the SIDE of a chefs knife.

I cut open the wrappers on a couple MLO Xtreme nutrition bars with a custom D2 neck knife this morning after I worked out. :)

I have used my bandicoot to open cans of beans and prep food. I used my FSH to flip steaks (works very well). For general kitchen use I have shun knives for that.

I use my knives in the kitchen a lot, even though I have a nice set of Opinel and Boker kitchen knives. Not to mention my collection of over 20 "just to make barbecue" knives.

If I can't feed myself with it or defend myself with it, I don't want it.;)

That bird looks fantastic! I've used all my knives for food prep at one time or another.

Had to laugh. I've used everything from SAK's to Sebenzas in the kitchen. The kitchen knives stay in the drawer most of the time, now.
