Man is this Beautiful wood grain or what??? Its not 100% finished ( so mind the fingerprints) but I just had to show the handle... Hope you like it!

The wood is incredible, I agree. However, I'm even more impressed with the grind. That grind is exceptionally clean. That is now my favorite file knife! Great job!!

It is my favorite file knife, too. Lucky for me its coming to my house.:D That wood is amboyna burl that I found on Ebay and Michael was nice enough to order. The design w/ that particular grip is a surprisingly good handler due to the wider thumb control area. I'm glad I have another in micarta as a user 'cause this ones almost too pretty to use. Michaels's work is always exceptionally clean at any price and for what he charges they are a steal. Files w/ the proper heat treat make awesome cutters.
 
Have this in hand now and yes it is nicer even than the pic. Michael, thanks for this and the matching amboyna necker.:thumbup:
