Am I the only one here that will not buy a knife made in China? First there is the fact of who China is. Killing the Uyghur's, oppressing the Tibetian's, and lets not forget organ harvesting. then there is the fact that their steel is just not as good - IMHO. I am finding I have to be pretty careful, so many big names now have production lines that are all made in China. China is not our friend. I have been there and it is worse in person.

I buy knives from the awesome makers there whom are now friends, not their commie government. These are super nice people and they make great knives. We have never talked politics, just knives.

are you talking custom? I would like to hear about that. When we toured china the regular folks living in the rural areas were quite nice.

Wasn’t there thousand threads about that subject already? The hoback thread was kind of that, people like to buy usa made and turns out to be chinese made hence the controversy if it for getting screwed over. Personally, i don’t care if it’s Chinese or whatnot, i vote with my wallet. If i like it i buy it.
