In the General Knife Discussion, EDC XIII Which Knife or Knives Are You Carrying Today, page 1042, posting #208211 is a puukko and an axe or hatchet head, marked "Made In England". I cannot remember ever seeing a "Made in England" axe or hatchet posted in this forum, but then again I have a hard time remembering what I ate for lunch. Does anyone recognize the maker of this axe or hatchet head?

I've got a couple things made in England. But only two at this time I believe. One is an Elwell axe I purchased from jblyttle;

It says "made in England" on the sticker and stamped into the other side of the axe. It's a well made tool with excellent hickory.
The other is a Spear and Jackson rip saw. An anniversary edition made in the 60's or 70's;

I don't think this answers your question but it seemed appropriate to post them.
Hope you figure out the maker of that knife!

Edit; I should've read your post more carefully. You know the maker. Doh! Even if I make a mistake I don't like changing it so I'll leave my post. Even though it has nothing to do with Puukko.

Hi, John! Funny thing seeing a post cross sub-forums like that. About the knife, Kellam likes to put the model name on the sheath. This one says Puukko. It's a favorite carver of mine. Holds an edge very well.
