ok i;m sorry it was made in japan.....i thought that spyderco was made in golden colorado? i live just 16 miles from the spyderco outlet in golden ,as sal may know ,i mountain bike at white ranch park.

Spyderco knives have been made in Seki-City, Japan for close to 20 years. However, our first American made knife, the C15 Bob Terzuola, was made in our factory here in Golden 10 years ago. We presently have several models coming out of our Golden factory: Military, Starmate, Gunting, Chinook, the SpydeRench, Centofante, and the new Natives.
