I am now at Bob Hankins House.We have been playing in the shop and looking at knives..

The trip today did have some bad spots.First thing out this morning my alternater gage quit working,actually the alternater did I thought.Pulled off at a gas station and shut the car off and the battery was dead.Check at the station and they were just gas and food so I check the other two stations and the third one said they could help.The guy got in there pickup and drove across the street to jump the car so I could pull it into there shop.The dumb thing started working then and he couldn't find anything wrong..The kicker here is that he charged me $42.50 for the jump start and threw in the battery check at no charge.I like to have fell on the floor.You would think they could give a guy a break,SHEEEESSHHHHHHH:eek:
But after that it stayed working all the way here.Man I hope I can stand another night away tomorrow and don't decide to make it home in one shot,I probably will though.It wouldn't be to bad I don't think as the closer I get to the ladies the more excited I get at seeing all three of them and the adrenalin gets to going and I want to make the car fly.
Better get off here and go play in the shop for a few more minutes or hours then get some sleep and head out again in the morning.Hope all goes well tomorrow.

Ain't no more free rides, your going to run into lots more vultures the closer you get to home. I'll keep my fingers crossed that nothing else goes wrong. Sounds like your going in the right direction now. Don't push it, the girls will be there when you get there. I'm going back to bed. At least now you have no more mountains to cross.......Ray

Well bruce is on the road and on his way to New Mexico and beyond!!!
Had a pretty cool evening, talked knives, swapped stories, gave him a quick lesson on Kydex forming and then talked more knives. Bruce gave me some good tips on knife making.
It was great!
Bruce gave me a knife I had been drooling over on his website, really made my day. Now it will get a display box and a place on our entertainment center.

Hope the road treats him well and he gets home soon...Look out donna;)
Our paths will cross again. Just have to find a reason to go to Mississippi. Oh Yeah...I forgot Bruce lives there...thats reason enough to go.

Man I tell ya this guy looks ten times better than me especially at 7am on a Sunday. i will post a better pic of the knife when I get a chance.
