  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I love my 11 in horizontal carry but wanted a new sheath. I also wanted to carry a small back up LED light (Fenix E01 small, tough & enough light to do what needs to be done) and fire steel (I think the BSA Hot spark is a very good small firesteel) if I felt like it So I got a little Kydex and started bending plastic.

Just the knife & sheath. The definition did not show up well in the pic.

I spaced the eyelets for a small tec-lock. I perfer to just use paracord. Never hurts to have a little paracord.

Here is how I will carry it most of the time. I need to get some better hardware. What I have now is just what I found in around the work bench.

I would like to heard what you think (Start Snarking) Also feel free to post your necker sheaths. From one sheet I still have enough to make at least two more. I might try something else.

How many sheaths have you made and how do you finnish the edges? Thats pretty damn good and if thats a first attempt...

Looks pretty good, I love orange kydex. It looks so much better in real life then in pics, people don't appreciate it LOL

I like that lil firesteel, aint seen those before, looks handy.

CamH_16, Thank you. I played with some other Kydex like stuff years ago. This is the first with the real thing. I used sand paper on the edge smoothed and took off any right angles.
Thrillbilly, Thank you.( I'm not looking to take your job) Orange is great & easy to see. Check out the BSA hotspark works well & should be under $5.

hell, I love seeing folks make things and learn new stuff. There is plenty of blades out there that need sheathed, no worries on my end. That is 100% better then my first sheath, heck that's prolly better then my 10th sheath LOL

That looks great. I've been pondering getting either kydex or leather for my 9 and 14 for awhile...
