I had originally bought these scales for another knife I had in mind but I went another route with that one, well I got to thinking how cool my Browning EDC knife would look with the G10 on it. I cut these out earlier and shaped them up, REALLY like them on this knife a lot, gives it a little more tactical look, now I have a nice set of wood and G10 scales for this knife as well as two sheaths, would really like to have a nice custom kydex sheath for it but not sure who could make me one at a reasonable price. This thing feels great, each side is 1/4" thick and i'm really happy how it came out. I purposely left a point at the end of the but as sort of a window breaker. Here's a couple pics.

I don't know the first thing about making scales for a knife but nice job. I like G10 a lot so excellent work. How does it feel in your hand -- Better than before? How did you learn to make the scales?

Thanks, yea it feels great in the hand, much more grip then the original wood but same thickness on each side so I can still use the original sheath. I actually cut and shaped these with a dremel tool, I use that for a good bit of knife work but this is actually the first time i've had a chance to work with G10, I love how this material works, shapes fairly easily but is super tough. I will definately be doing more with the G10 on some up coming projects. Pics do it no justice, they look and feel great in person, really nice.
