I had originally bought this Al Mar because I wanted to sample an Al Mar. The quality of this thing is just top notch. It was an user that came to me. Because it's so small, I didn't really carry it since I don't really want to fish for it and I have other knives that are bigger and easier to fish out of my pocket. I had wanted to make this into a neck knife, but I just never got around to making a pouch for it. I decided to sell it, but apparently no interest. Last night while I was at Walmart getting stuff, I wandered into the auto section to find some scratch removal/ polishing compounds. I haven't really had good results with brassio. I stumble on to Eagle One Nevr-Dull. I did a very brief search on it and found that people has good results with it so I figured why not it's only $5. I went to polish up the this little Ospray, and boy, does this stuff work. It looked almost new. This polish truly cleaned and polished the metal. This is virtually a jewery quality piece so I got some silver loops and paracord to make this into a necklace while still being able to use it as a knife.

here's the picture for my sales thread before the polish. It looks decent, nothing really special...

Nevr-Dull is a pretty amazing product for just $5.

These are the after pictures, sadly my camera isn't good at capturing lusters... I think I might just keep this little Al Mar.

I like the setup overall.. I really like the way the cord blends in with the pearl handles.. I gotta try that polishing stuff.. I had a jewlery friend buff some scratches off a bolster for me and boy it took like 15 seconds and it looked NEW.. U can barely tell someone touched it up..

Looks cool! I would still be looking for a mechansim to breakaway.. THe set up it still very nice
