Made my first conversion

So I brought someone over to the dark side today :)

My coworker has been admiring my knives for some time. His first purchase was a CRKT Nirk Tighe 2 folder he picked up at the local knife shop. He's finally come into the light and was telling me how he can't believe he got along without one for so long.

Well today after some prompting he ordered a BK2 and Kabar micarta :) To top it off we were cruising through the knife shop on lunch and he also picked up a BK16, since he was mooning over mine since I brought it home.

I think I've made him a believer :) How many have you converted?
 
Just one. I let him borrow a few of my beckers for camps and such. He really likes the BK-16. Then I gave him an EsKaBar for graduation. Sweet becker crack. He's getting a 16 when he has the funds.
 
My sister is currently carrying a 14 doing renovations. My mom has a 17 on her BOB. My brother has an 11 I bought him and a 14 he bought himself. My dad carries a spyderco.

So far I think about four or so that are active on the forums.
 
I'm a new convert myself. Not by an individual, but by this forum. I was an esee user, and used them for a while, till I stumbled across this sub-forum. The pics of true working blades done it for me. I've never been a collector and never will be, but I am deffinately a user. I still use my esee blades, but now im delving into Beckers to replace them.
 
Just one convert so far--my fiance. I bought her an 11 about nine months ago and we made a project out of stripping and refinishing ours together. Currently she wears hers as part of her edc and it gets a lot of use! Nothing like being in a loving relationship with someone who can out-draw you with their Becker!
 
Well, he received his BK2 today :) Went out into the woods at lunch and put it through its paces :) I think he's in love.
