I've been playing with making scales for my knives for the past few weeks now. I've used hand tools(rasps, files, sand paper) and power tools(small household tools, dremels, drills) with good results. I'm no pro, but I'm going for feel and function more than anything. I've used screws, nuts, and other hardware but not pins, until now.

Knife is (if you can't tell) a Bark River Knecker 2.
I used carbon rods, camo micarta, orange g10 liner and like the outcome.
Lets get to it

I re-molded one of the kydex sheaths it came with for the custom non bark river scales

Since I had no use for the skeleton knecker sheath, my bk24 found a new home(with adjustments taken proper care of). Thanks Bark river!

That's all, thanks for looking! Comments welcome

Thank you! It's so I don't lose it. I often do this on my own blades for quicker recovery if misplaced on the ground or whatever.
