In the spirit of doing everything out of order, I used the last of my scraps to make a pocket sheath for a Companion last night. Not enough leather on hand for a belt strap, so just a pocket sheath for now. Lol. This is my first sheath ever.
The inside of the throat is beveled and burnished as well. I got the awl turned a little sideways near the tip, so the stitches turn a little weird, which is annoying. I do think the edge came out well. The back isn't horrible, but it definitely isn't good. The line wanders a little.
