Made my first Tanto from 1095 Steel as a gift for a friend. It may be my last one, because it's kind of a pain in the ass. I wanted to make the handle skinnier to match the blade, but the guy wanted it this way, so...

I'm very happy with the EDC. It's razor sharp, I started with 1/4 inch steel So I could use it to pry also (I know you shouldn't pry with a knife). Went with Bubinga for the scales, it's about as bulletproof knife as I've ever owned.
