Been thinking about something like this for a while and finally took the time to get it made. A neat little EDC fixed blade to replace a folder. I am going to carry this one for a bit before I finalize the pattern but I really like how it turned out. I started with .200 thick 5160 but with full flat grinds, drilling the tang, and a little taper to the blade, it lightened right up :) It weighs in at 5oz. I used some recently arrived black/green G10 for the scales and the sculpting really makes em pop! :) Overall it is 7 1/4inlong. The blade is 3 11/16 tip to handle.

That turned out really nice Bill. I'll take a small fixed blade over a folder every time.

Thanks guys! I have been wearing it for two days now and like it a lot. Not sure when, but I want to make a run of something similar in 154CM blade stock. I think stainless for a short EDC makes a lot of sense.
