Made some changes to my new kershaw zing

Polished some bits and pieces, heat colored the liners, pocket clip and some of the screws. Textured the scales with a soldering iron. Took the bead blast coating off everything because it kind of helped rust along. Polished all areas causing drag while opening. The action and grip are amazing now. Here are some pics. P.S. The emerson 7 was a prior project as well.

Good job !!

I pimped my Zing too. For some reason a lot of knife mods go unnoticed here , I wish there was a seperate sub-forum for that because it is one of the neatest aspects of knife ownership - making a knife your own.
 
I think you prolly messed up the heat treat on the liners, as well as the screws, they may strip easily now, and the lock may not spring over as much now.

I've done that to quite a few liner and framelocks , it doesnt hurt them. Same goes for the screws.

I really doubt that. If anything the screws will be much more difficult to strip.
