Made some cocobolo scales…

Took my BK9 and stripped the black coating off of it and made some cocobolo wooden handles. First time trying this, there are def some imperfections but it turned out looking nice anyway, I sanded the scales down alittle more than I meant to so I added some black G10 liners as well. The piece of cocobolo I started with was about 14”x5”x3/4” thick. A ton of sanding!! Probably took the handles off and put them back on 400 times lol. A lot of sanding was done with them on the knife too to get it all flush.

I know it won’t keep this mirror finish but it sure look good.
 
I hope that you used breathing protection while sanding that stuff.
