After cruising this forum for many months I have finally broke down and bought a large sebenza 21. I have always liked how the sebenza looked but the price always pushed me away when I got close to getting one in the past.

Im really looking forward to getting the knife...just have to wait for the mail man. Too bad I live in canada--it takes so long for mail:D

Ill post some pictures of her when she arrives.

Also wanted to say thanks for all those that posted some beautiful pics of your knives as well as all of the information and praise that pushed me into buying my first. Thanks guys:)

i think you'll be happy.

at first, it may not knock your socks off. but carry and use it a while and you will really appreciate the elegant simplicity embodied within your new tool!

I couldn't stop carrying my other folders until I actually started carrying my Sebs. I am struggling to keep my Ritter Grip and Military, but I rarely carry them anymore. Owning a Sebbie is one thing, actually using it really makes it a pleasure to own.

I bought a small Sebbie on the last day of Blade I am loving it so far except I have had to tighten the clip twice already.Need to find someway short of loctite to keep it from backing out

I plan on carrying it. Not into the safe queen thing, although I do have a couple. I can only truly love a knife if I use it so it is gonna get used. Im a gardener, so it will see lots of dirt and cut quite a bit of random stuff:). Can't wait for it to show up, it was shipped from my favorite drug store today:D

NO

Please do not use loctite anywhere on the Seb. The screw heads are soft and you will not get it out when you need to. Make sure the thread on the screw and in the scale are OK and not stretched or damaged.

I agree it should not be coming out but there must be a reason. :)

Oh... be gentle with yourself, don't struggle. Sell me your Ritter Grip (I'd prefer the mini). :) I'm first trying to build a quality collection. It'll go to a fine and caring home. I promise. ;)

Rob

PS - If you love that Grip let it go, if it comes back to you (it won't) its yours if it doesn't (it won't) :) then it wasn't meant to be.

PPS - I'll take that 'no' as a maybe... think about it...
