So here's what we're starting out with. Old BK11 (stamped and old coating), bought around '11, used quite a bit and engraved with my BH#.
Ground the bevels flat on my little belt sander. Engraving is quite deep so it's still visible.
At this point I got a bit lost in the work and forgot to take pics, so here's the final result of today:
Blade has been reprofiled and reshaped, finger guard is gone, handle has been thinned a bit.
Up next: Handle scales, closing the bottle opener opening and making kydex pants.
