Mag Handles

I am under the impression that the BATAC and the Satin Jacks as well as the Mole Jack all share the same handle size. Is this the case? I would like to send my Mole Jack in for some fatter grips.

Magnum grips feel great, on the larger knives.

Regular grips offer a feel and balance on the smaller blades that mag grips would not offer, IMO.

I've yet to feel mag TAC grippies. I'll say this after comparing the SJTAC and BATAC - the BATAC has more beef to the handle. The SJ is just a bit too thin on that first divit behind the "guard." If you compare them, the BA is clearly thicker there. A modification between productions? No doubt. My SJ seems more of a streetfighter than anything else. The BATAC is a camp knife - even with the fighter-styled TAC handle.

All that aside, I wonder if just a bit fatter grips would be great. I keep handling my two new Ergos (TYSnafoooooo) and I have really grown to enjoy these. I wish the SH-E had a bit "taller" blade like the FSH. That woulda been a cool combo. I'm just loving that thick steel and quilted micarta feel.

So I think without contours up the wee-woo, if you just got thicker scales on your TAC, it would be much more hand-filling and feel more comfortable when using.
