Magazine Back Issues and old catalog's

I am interested in obtaining copy's of articles or catalog descriptions pertaining to BlackJack knives. Does anyone know of any magazines that may have done articles on the company and it's knives in the past and what year and month the article may have appeared in. How about you knife Scribes? Have you done any articles in the past on the company?

I know that Blade Magazine did some articles on BlackJack.

I will look through my back issues this weekend if you like.
 
I would appreciate it very much if you can look through those. I would think there must be at least one article on them that was done by Blade over the years.

Tom - This maybe a shot in the dark but if you can get a hold of some old copies of catalogs from the Cutlery Shoppe, they sold a lot of Blackjack knives. SDouglas is correct about Blade, but I cannot recall which issues. Also, somehow I recall that Fighting Knives also ran some pieces too. I'll look through my inventory of FK issues to see. Good luck in your search.

Oh, one other thing - you can contact Steve Shackleford (Blade editor) if you have any questions regarding Blackjack content in the magazine. He can be reached at stumpy480@mindspring.com. FWIW Steven Dick used to write for FK, and he probably can help you out too. Last known email address I have for him is tacticalknives@tdn.com. I don't have a current copy of TK accessible now but if anyone knows this is incorrect, please post the current email.

Tom, try contacting Jason Stewart who runs the Marble's forum at KF. His father used to run Blackjack, he may be able to help you.
